So I used to have the preconfigured version, but my hard drive died last summer so I had to start all over from scratch, which I only did just recently. That's gone well so far, but I have two questions:

1. Can I get it to stop asking me to write a status message every time I log in, or is this a new feature?
2. Can I get it to run at startup?

Oops, it appears I've already posted this question...totally forgot. That's what summer school does to ya. Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm still looking for the preconfigured or at least someone to point me to a place where its laid out on configuring it

I'm not sure specifically where to find a pre configured version of Miranda. As far as I know, the status message is the first thing that pops up for five seconds, when you direct a messenger to go online via the Miranda client. I have tried to find a solution for Miranda to begin at start up, but I have had no luck.

I know Andre's site has a pre configured version, a few months old but that's pretty easy to fix by updating it.

Thanks, Ry. And at coolturk, I tried to download that--it's the one I used to have--but it doesn't seem to exist anymore. I'll have to check that out and see if it's back to stay.
